Trying something completely new here; this is my “Blog” of how I try to think of a new business. Love to hear your comments!

Background
I’m a International Relations (IR) by Bachelor Degree and a Business Management (BM) by Masters. There’s definitely a gap between the 2 degrees in terms of its practicality as well as its approaches.
The IR has its way around of “observing” things; whether its the subject’s reactions, behaviors; anything that is a reactionary is something IR uses to build cases and hypotheses.
For BM, it was purely theoretical, as we depended heavily on “recorded use cases of past successful and failed business practices.
Combining the two would need an effort but here I am in the business industry trying to find my secret sauce.
Way of Work
Observing on “human” seems to by my forte, ideally speaking observing their behaviors, the types of words they use, the clothings, their interactions in a particular environment. From that, I make some assumptions, what kind of routines do they have, what Job / Pain / Gains are they experiencing at the moment. What’s their immediate, medium and long term goals; and from that I make some “business hypothesis” of what kinds of things they want in terms of a potential product and/or services.
Ideation
So currently I am in the middle of this business ideation phase; honestly speaking it has been hitting the walls figuratively for the past weeks or so. What I am trying to focus on is a mental health approach however will need to validated by the target customers well at least in a small group first.
The mental health business approach is subjective from a different perspective; though I feel it is the hidden gem that is going to explode within the next 5 years. What do you guys think? Would a mental health related business takes up speed and grew significantly? If any of you are experts in the business generating field or even mentors; definitely please reach out as it would be great to get some mentors/coaches on how to ideate business correctly.
My Voice
So there you have it; it doesn’t really say or emphasize how much I am struggling to generate a business idea but the struggle is real. I think I’ve proposed 2 or 3 ideas already and my colleagues were kind enough to provide me with very critical comments; which I highly appreciate. It definitely did give me a new ideas even had that moment of oh right I forgot about that aspect, so on so forth.
Of course, I am open to having mentors or coaches to provide a few tips / tricks here and there; the more techniques the merrier!
This blog is to show that I am not giving up; this is My Voice.
